Software
Standard AOSP Android. Custom launcher, boot logo, preloaded apps, open ADB and builds without GMS are available through OEM firmware.

Where the WF1589T fits and where it does not
The WF1589T is a 15.6-inch RK3576 Android 14 wall mount tablet. It’s built for fixed installs that need a big, readable screen and wired Ethernet. Room booking outside conference rooms, wayfinding in lobbies, dashboards on factory walls-that’s where we see it spec’d most. The tablet handles 4K video playback, so looping MP4 or H.264 content doesn’t need a separate player box.
This isn’t a portable tablet. No battery, no 4G modem, no IP rating in the spec table. It stays indoors, in a clean environment. Working temp is 0 to 40 degrees. If you need a rugged tablet for a forklift or a freezer, check our rugged Android tablets instead. The 250 cd/m² luminance is fine for indoor walls but not for direct sunlight. Need a brighter panel? Tell us in the RFQ, and we can say what’s feasible.
Compared to our smaller 10-inch panels, the WF1589T gives you more screen for maps, schedules, or multi-pane UIs. Our L-shaped desktop models sit differently. This one mounts flat against the wall, so cable routing and VESA placement matter more.
What to specify when you order the WF1589T
Start with the exact spec table row you want. The default build is RK3576, 4GB RAM, 32GB storage, Android 14, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n/ac, 2.4G+5G, BT 4.0, and a 100M/1000M Ethernet port. Need different RAM or storage? Ask. We'll confirm what's feasible.
Then list your integration choices. Do you need the 2.0MP front camera? The mic? The 2 x 3W speakers? All are standard on this model, but if you want them disabled or removed, say so. The SD slot supports up to 32GB, which is useful for offline content updates. Planning to use USB peripherals? There are three USB Host 3.0 ports plus a Mini USB OTG. That's enough for a barcode scanner, a keyboard, and a USB drive.
For mounting, the VESA pattern is 100x100mm. Send us the wall material and the angle you need. Want a custom front bezel color, boot animation, or a launcher locked to your app? How the WF1589T differs from sibling 15-inch models
We make several 15.6 inch Android tablets. Differences? Form factor and chipset. The WF1589T is a flat wall mount with the RK3576. We've got other models too-different sizes, different platforms-so check the spec table.
Need PoE? Check our PoE Android tablets. The WF1589T comes with a 12V 3A adapter for power. So you need a nearby outlet or low-voltage wiring. If your install has only one Cat5e run, you might need a third-party PoE splitter. That's external to the tablet, though.
The RK3576 is a newer chipset. It can deliver better performance for Android 14 and complex UI. But we recommend testing your app. If your app is light and you want to save cost, ask us about a lower-spec sibling. Need a larger wall panel? We offer other sizes. Just inquire.
