Four platforms, one size

The chipset column matters most here. RK3576 with 4GB + 32GB and Android 14 is the current platform. RK3288 and RK3399 models remain for projects locked to older Android builds.

Choosing among the four 15 inch android tablet models

The 15 inch android tablet line here is really four different builds that happen to share a screen size. Check the chipset column first. WF1589T runs RK3576 with Android 14 and 4GB plus 32GB. It's the obvious pick for a new deployment that needs a few years of headroom. PW-1537T is the odd one out. It lists RK3288, RK3566 or RK3568 with Android 6.0 or 8.1. That spread means you must confirm the exact sub-model before quoting.

WL1589T uses RK3399 and leaves OS and resolution blank in our table, so treat it as a configure-to-order part. HS-SHT1568 is the legacy RK3288 Android 8.1 wall unit. It's fine when your image is already built around that platform. If PoE matters, three of the four list it. WF1589T doesn't. NFC is listed on PW-1537T and WL1589T only. For a 15.6 inch android tablet that will sit on a desk, WL1589T is the only L-shape option here. Read the table from chipset down to options and the shortlist usually shrinks to one model.

What to put in the RFQ for a 15.6 inch touch screen tablet

A 15.6 inch touch screen tablet RFQ should pin down the things our table leaves open. Start with the exact model and sub-configuration. For PW-1537T, say RK3288, RK3566 or RK3568 and the Android version. For WL1589T, tell us Android 10, 11 or a build you already have. If a model lists more than one RAM and storage tier, pick one. Do you need GMS or a clean AOSP image? We ship AOSP by default and can add Google Mobile Services per order.

Then list options. PoE if the model supports it, NFC, camera, 4G, RFID or barcode. Housing color and logo method go in the same block. If your app needs ADB open or a locked launcher, tell us now. Changing that after the fact costs a re-flash. We also need the mounting orientation and whether the tablet faces the user or the wall. Send your target quantity and we'll answer within 24 hours with a spec confirmation and a quote.

Integration limits and what we do not make

We make display hardware. Not the software stack around it. Our tablets run AOSP Android on Rockchip chipsets-we can preload your APK, lock the launcher, and leave ADB open for your team. But we don't write the app, manage your backend, or tune Android for a specific touch response. Payment acceptance is the payment app's job, not ours, and a certified reader is separate hardware. Medical tablets on our site? Information and call terminals, not certified medical devices.

Mechanically, we offer wall mount and L-shape desktop forms. No custom extrusion or new plastic tooling for a single project, though. Housing color and logo are OEM changes we can make. Need a size outside 8 to 32 inch? Look at our POS terminals or Android tablet lines for adjacent categories. Common questions

Which 15.6 inch Android tablet should I choose for a new project?

Start with WF1589T if you want the current platform: RK3576, Android 14, 4GB RAM and 32GB storage. If your project is locked to an older Android build, PW-1537T or HS-SHT1568 may match your existing image. For a desktop form, WL1589T is the only L-shape model here.

Do the 15.6 inch tablets support PoE?

Three of the four models list PoE: HS-SHT1568, PW-1537T and WL1589T. WF1589T does not list PoE. If PoE is required, tell us in the RFQ and we will confirm the specific sub-model and power budget for your installation.

Can you preload our app and lock the tablet to it?

Yes. We ship AOSP builds by default and can preload your APK, set a custom launcher, lock the device to that launcher and leave ADB open for your engineers. You provide the APK and the desired behavior. We do not develop the app itself.
