Two screen formats

The 17 inch model lists 1366 x 768. The 15 inch model lists 1920 x 1080 and runs Windows 10 or 11 on Intel N100. Pick by the layout your POS software was designed for.

Specify these in your inquiry

  • Windows or Android, and the version.
  • Peripherals: receipt printer width, scanner, customer display, cash drawer port.
  • RAM and storage tier.
  • Housing color and logo.

Choosing between the two countertop pos terminal models

The countertop pos terminal line has two fixed models. The choice comes down to resolution and OS. The HP1701S uses a 17 inch panel at 1366 x 768, which suits older POS software built around wide lower-density layouts. Its Intel N5095 and Windows 10 are a stable base for apps that haven't moved to 11. The HP-P1501 steps up to 15 inch 1920 x 1080. Sharper text. More rows on screen. It runs Windows 10 or 11 on an N100, so you can match the OS your software vendor qualifies.

Both models ship with 8GB and 256GB as the listed tier. That's enough for most counter workflows. But if your software stack is heavier, tell us in the RFQ. We can confirm whether a different RAM or storage tier is available for your order. Don't assume a second config exists just because the page only shows one row per model. The table is what we verify against.

What to put in the RFQ for a fixed pos

Send us the model, the OS version your software requires, and the peripheral list. A desktop pos terminal without a printer, scanner or customer display is just a touch computer. We need the receipt printer width, the scanner type if any, whether you want a customer-facing display, and if you need a cash drawer port. Our POS line supports these as per-order items, but the exact pinout and connector depend on the housing.

State the housing color too. Do you want your logo silk printed, on a metal badge, or in the boot animation? That's part of the OEM scope we run every day. Need a custom launcher or preloaded apps? List them now. We answer within 24 hours, and the more complete your first message, the fewer clarification loops.

For integration, check the I/O section of our Android POS page if your software can run on Android. A fixed Windows unit and an Android unit share the same counter footprint but not the same driver stack.

Integration limits and what we do not make

Payment terminals, cash drawers, receipt printers-we don’t sell those as separate devices. The countertop pos terminal serves as the host: it runs your POS software and connects with the peripherals you already own or pick up from your usual supplier. Payment security? That’s the payment app’s job, along with its certified reader. Not ours. Our hardware is a Windows pos terminal: a general-purpose computer with a touch panel. It isn’t a locked-down appliance.

Comparing fixed POS to our other lines? The dual screen POS adds a customer-facing display in one unit. Need battery power for line busting? Check out the handheld POS models. Thermal and mounting limits differ per line. So pick based on where the operator stands. Screen size isn’t the whole story.
