Where the HP1733T fits and where it does not
The hp1733t is a 17.3 inch 1080p wall mount Android tablet built around the Rockchip RK3399. Dual-core A72 plus quad-core A53-it's a solid fit for signage, room booking, and control panels that run one main app and need reliable touch response. The IPS panel gives you 85 degree viewing angles in all directions. That matters when the screen is mounted at standing height and people approach it from the side.
It's not a general purpose desktop replacement. With 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory, plan the app set carefully. It's also not a rugged device. The housing isn't rated for drops or outdoor exposure. Need a panel that lives in a kitchen, a workshop, or a truck? Look at our rugged Android tablets instead.
The PoE option is why many integrators pick this model. One cable carries data and power. That simplifies installation in offices, schools, and healthcare corridors. Onboard Ethernet is 100M/1000M, so the link won't be the bottleneck for a 1080p UI.
What to specify when you order the HP1733T
Start with the OS version. Android 7.1 or 9.0 comes on this model. Does your app need newer APIs or a specific security patch level? Tell us which build you want. We can ship without Google Mobile Services and with ADB open. That's common for kiosk and signage projects. We'll also preload your APK, set a custom launcher, and change the boot animation as part of our OEM scope.
Next, decide on PoE. The 17.3 inch RK3399 wall mount Android tablet with PoE option uses IEEE802.3at/af. Your switch only provides af? Confirm the power budget. No PoE needed? We ship with a 12V/2A adapter and you use the DC jack. The RJ45 port is there either way.
Send us the mounting plan. VESA pattern is 75 x 75mm. That's a small pattern for a 17 inch panel, so the bracket must be rigid. Need a different orientation or a custom front bezel color? Include that in the RFQ. We answer within 24 hours.
How the HP1733T differs from our other RK3399 tablets
The WA8058T is an L-shape desktop model with the same RK3399. It sits on a counter and tilts. The HP1733T is wall mounted, so it suits spaces where the counter is already full. The HP1012T is a 10.1 inch wall mount RK3399. It shares the same VESA 75 pattern but has a smaller panel and a 16:10 aspect ratio. The HP1733T gives you a larger active area and a 16:9 panel, which is easier for video content.
The WA1036T is a 10.1 inch desktop unit, while the WL1026T is a 10.1 inch wall mount with a different chipset. If your project needs a 17 inch wall panel but you would rather use a newer Rockchip platform, ask us about the WL1718L. We can advise which model fits your app and budget.
