  • RAM and storage tier. Several models list two tiers.
  • Android version. It follows the chipset, see the OS column.

  • GMS or AOSP, launcher lock-down, ADB access.
  • Housing color and logo method.
  • LCD products carry a 1 year warranty.

Where the WL1718L Fits and Where It Does Not

The wl1718l is a 17.3 inch L-shape desktop Android tablet built around the Rockchip RK3288. The case holds the screen at a raised angle, so it reads like a menu board or service kiosk without a wall mount. That form matters more than the diagonal. Need a countertop terminal for ordering, check-in or wayfinding? This gives you a clean, self-standing unit with ports and power supply built into the base.

It's not a wall tablet. The WA8058T and WA1036T work for flush and surface mounting, while this model sits on a desk or counter. It's also not a battery device. The 12V/1.5A input means it stays plugged in, which suits fixed deployments and removes the need to manage battery aging.

For restaurant ordering, the restaurant ordering tablet page shows how the L-shape works at the table or host stand. If you need a larger display for self-service, check the 21 inch and 24 inch categories. If you need a rugged handheld, this isn't the right model.

What to Specify When Ordering the WL1718L

Start with storage. The page lists 16GB and 32GB ROM. RAM is fixed at 2GB. That storage choice shapes how much app data and offline content the device can hold. Caching menus, images or videos? Specify 32GB. If the software loads everything from a server, 16GB is plenty.

Then NFC. The table lists it as optional. Want contactless check-in or loyalty card reading? Request it in the RFQ. Without that, the unit ships without the NFC module. The 4G flow card slot is listed too, so specify if you need cellular data or will stick to Wi-Fi and Ethernet only.

Send us your app requirements. We can preload your APK, set a custom launcher and disable the status bar, so the tablet boots straight into your software. Need a custom boot animation or logo? Include the artwork. We answer inquiries within 24 hours. Tell us the quantity, target market and any housing color or branding needs, and we'll confirm the exact configuration.

How the WL1718L Differs from Sibling Models

The L-shape desktop family comes in several sizes and chipset options. For a 10.1 inch screen, check out the WL1026T. It has the same L-shape stand, but the screen's smaller and the processor choices differ. Need a wall-mount? The HP1012T is also 10.1 inches, yet its mounting and power setup are completely different. If a larger desktop display is what you're after, the 21 inch Android tablets offer both L-shape and pedestal designs.

Inside, the RK3288 is a quad-core Cortex-A17 platform. It's a reliable workhorse for kiosk and ordering apps. But it's not our fastest option. Does your software handle heavy 3D rendering or multiple camera streams? Then ask about models with RK3399 or RK3568. The spec table doesn't list a camera, so assume there's none built in. That's fine for menu and check-in use. It won't work for video calling or barcode scanning without an external USB camera, though.

For medical or clean-room environments, the medical tablet page covers information terminals with different enclosures. The WL1718L is a general business kiosk and office unit. It's not a certified medical device.
