Where the WL1026T fits and where it does not
The wl1026t is an L-shape desktop Android tablet built around the Rockchip RK3566. You pick it when the install calls for a fixed countertop screen with the ports and options already on the board: PoE, NFC, camera, RJ45, USB slave, DC in. The L-shape case puts the display at a slight tilt and leaves the base for cable routing or a badge. It is not a wall mount, not a panel you embed into furniture, and not a handheld. The 10.1 inch size with 1280*800 resolution suits ordering lines, check-in desks and information points where the operator stands or sits close to the screen.
A buyer who needs a larger canvas should look at the 13 inch Android tablets or the 15 inch models. A buyer who needs a fully sealed front for wipe-down cleaning should check the rugged Android tablets instead. The WL1026T is a general commercial terminal; we do not claim an IP rating for it because the spec table lists none.
What to specify when you order the WL1026T
Start with memory and storage. The RK3566 board takes 2 or 4 GB of RAM and 16 or 32 GB of eMMC. Pick 4/32 if your app keeps a local database or caches menus and images. Pick 2/16 if the device runs one lightweight front end and pulls everything from the network. Then list the options you actually need: PoE, NFC, camera. All three appear in the spec, but they are per-order options, not defaults. If you want PoE, tell us whether the switch side is 802.3at or 802.3af so we build the right power path.
In your RFQ, send the app APK or a link to it, the launcher behavior you expect, and any boot animation or logo files. We load customer apps and custom launchers at the factory. Also state the housing color and whether the silk print goes on the bezel or the base. If you need open ADB for your own provisioning, say so; our standard AOSP build ships without Google Mobile Services unless you ask for it.
How the WL1026T differs from sibling 10.1 inch models
We make several 10.1 inch RK3566 tablets, and the differences are mostly in the case and the ports. The WA8058T uses a wall mount form, which suits fixed installations that need to hide cables in the wall. The HP1012T is also a wall mount unit, but its different standoff and rear plate change how it sits against a junction box. The WA1036T keeps a similar wall mount profile with a different housing detail. The WH1018T is the one to compare if you are still deciding between wall and desk; it shows how the same board moves into a different chassis.
The WL1026T is the only L-shape 10.1 inch model in this group. That matters when you need the display to stand on a counter without a separate stand, and when you want the base to carry the connector board. If your install is a restaurant ordering line, see restaurant ordering Android tablets for the typical wiring and mounting notes. If PoE is the main driver, the PoE Android tablets page lists the other models with that option.
