  • GMS or AOSP, launcher lock-down, ADB access.
  • Housing color and logo method.
  • LCD products carry a 1 year warranty.

Where the WH1018T fits and where it does not

The wh1018t is a 10.1 inch wall mount medical Android tablet with call handle. Built for nurse stations, patient rooms and clinic corridors where a fixed, cleanable panel with a physical call button makes sense. We see it used for patient calls, room status, menus and simple nursing workflows. But the call handle is the differentiator. Need a bedside terminal that a patient can press without touching the screen? This model is the right starting point.

It is not a medical device. It doesn't monitor vitals, control therapy or connect to clinical instruments. It's an information and call terminal. It's also not a bedside entertainment hub. The 5MP front camera and optional 4G are enough for video calls, but the panel is wall mounted, so it won't follow a patient around. Need a handheld or a cart unit? Look at our other Android tablets instead.

Say you're specifying a patient room terminal. You'd choose this model for the call handle and wall mount. You'd choose a different model if the room has no Ethernet drop and no budget for PoE, or if you need a larger screen for wayfinding. We won't stretch this tablet into a role it can't fill.

Specifying the WH1018T for an RFQ

When you send an RFQ for the wh1018t, don't stop at the model name. Give us the memory configuration. Base is 2GB RAM and 16GB storage. Heavy app? Custom launcher? Ask for 4GB and 32GB instead. Tell us the network path, too. The tablet has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Ethernet, and optional 3G or 4G. A hospital VLAN might want wired Ethernet with PoE. A clinic without drops may prefer 4G. We need to know before we build.

Tell us about NFC. The spec table says NFC is supported, but not whether you need it. If your workflow uses NFC badges for staff login, say so. If you don't need it, we leave the antenna out. Same goes for the camera. The 5MP front camera is standard, but some facilities ask us to disable it. That's a firmware change we can make.

Also state your software requirement. We ship AOSP Android without Google Mobile Services. Need GMS? We can discuss. Need a custom launcher or preloaded apps? List them. Our OEM/ODM scope covers logo, boot animation, manual, color box, carton, labels, preloaded apps, custom launcher, firmware changes, and housing color. We answer within 24 hours.

How the WH1018T differs from its siblings

The wh1018t sits in a crowded 10.1 inch lineup. The main difference? The call handle. No other 10.1 inch model has one. The WA8058T is a wall mount tablet without a handle. The WA1036T is a different wall mount option. The HP1012T is an L-shape desktop unit. The WL1026T is a rugged tablet. If your project doesn't need the call handle, one of those may cost less or fit better.

Compare the IO. The WH1018T has USB, HDMI, RJ45 and Type-C. That's a useful set for a fixed installation. You can connect a keyboard, a secondary display, or a wired network. PoE is listed as yes, so one cable can carry power and data. That matters in retrofit jobs where adding an outlet is expensive.

We don't position the wh1018t as a general purpose panel. It's a medical call terminal. If you need a meeting room scheduler, look at our meeting room tablets. If you need a restaurant ordering station, look at our restaurant ordering tablets. The call handle is the reason to buy this model.
