Status light
LED light bars and surrounds show free or busy from down the corridor. The color is driven by your scheduling app.
Software
The tablets run standard Android. Your room booking app installs as on any Android device. Kiosk lock-down, auto-start and a custom launcher are available through OEM firmware.
Specify these in your inquiry
- RAM and storage tier. Several models list two tiers.
- Android version. It follows the chipset, see the OS column.
- PoE, NFC, camera, 4G: optional on many models.
- GMS or AOSP, launcher lock-down, ADB access.
- Housing color and logo method.
How to read the conference room booking tablet table
A conference room booking tablet is a wall-mounted Android panel that runs your scheduling app. The table on this page lists the models we most often quote for room booking projects.
Start with screen size. Our meeting room booking tablet range spans 8 to 15.6 inches. The 8-inch panel fits beside a door where space is tight. The 13.3-inch and 14-inch models show more of the day's agenda. The 15.6-inch panel is a full room schedule display.
Then check the chipset row. WA1342T uses RK3288, an older quad-core that suits basic booking apps. WA1036T, WA1412T and PW-1537T can use RK3566 or RK3568, which handle heavier calendars and kiosk launchers better. Android version follows the chipset, so a model with RK3566 and Android 11 gives you a longer OS runway.
RAM and storage matter if your app caches room data or shows rich media. The two-tier options on WA1036T and WA1412T let you pick 2GB+16GB for simple check-in or 4GB+32GB for busier screens.
Specifying a room booking panel in your RFQ
Send us the room count, the scheduling software you use, and the network setup. That tells us whether you need PoE, NFC, or a camera. PoE follows IEEE802.3at/af on the models that list it, so one cable carries power and data. NFC is 13.56 MHz and works with most badge readers.
Tell us if you need GMS or AOSP. Our tablets ship with open ADB and a custom launcher option. We can lock the device to your booking app, set auto-start, and hide the Android UI. That is firmware work we do in-house.
Specify the housing finish and logo method. Silk print, metal badge, and boot animation are available. If the room has a glass wall or a shallow mounting depth, say so. The wall mount bracket on these models is fixed, but we can discuss the cutout and cable exit.
For the LED status light, confirm the color logic. Your app drives the light bar or surround. We wire it to the GPIO and document the API. The WA1036T has a light bar; the WA1412T has a surround.
Integration limits and what we do not make
We make the display hardware and the base Android firmware. We do not write the booking application. The scheduling software, calendar sync, and user management come from your app vendor. Our job is to make the panel run that app reliably.
We do not promise that a panel will work with a specific booking platform out of the box. The app must be installed and configured by your team. We can preload it, lock it down, and set the auto-start, but we cannot test every third-party calendar API.
If the table shows a blank for PoE or NFC on a model, we do not have a tested value for it. Do not assume it is absent. Ask us. Some models accept PoE as a per-order option even when the table is blank.
We also do not make the mounting back box or the in-wall cabling. You supply the wall preparation. Our bracket is included, but the recessed box is a site item.
For a broader look at our Android panels, see the commercial Android tablet line. If you need a panel for a different use, the restaurant ordering tablet shares the same platform.
