Resolution and PoE

10.1 inch models in this range list 1280 x 800. PoE models follow IEEE 802.3at/af. A unit rated at 12 V / 1.5 A needs an at port to stay within budget.

Housing

Wall mount models suit meeting room doors and wards. The L-shape model stands on a counter with the ports at the rear.

Specify these in your inquiry

  • RAM and storage tier. Several models list two tiers.
  • Android version. It follows the chipset, see the OS column.
  • PoE, NFC, camera, 4G: optional on many models.
  • GMS or AOSP, launcher lock-down, ADB access.
  • Housing color and logo method.

Choosing a 10 inch android tablet for your deployment

Five 10.1 inch models here. Four wall mount, one L-shape desktop. Ignore the screen size first. Check I/O and power path. Three list PoE, one of those lists NFC. No spare AC outlet? That narrows the field fast.

What the wall mounts expose varies. The WH1018T adds a call handle. That changes the physical envelope and how you run the cable. The WA1036T lists an LED light bar and panel sizes past 10.1 inch. Don't need extras? HP1012T and XR101T are the plainest.

RAM and storage beat OS version at this size. Two models ship with 2 GB + 16 GB base. Enough for a locked launcher and one foreground app. But if you're running a browser, video feed, or heavy ordering app, go 4 GB + 32 GB where it's listed.

What to put in the RFQ for a 10 inch android tablet

Send us the model you're leaning toward, the quantity, and five answers. First, power: do you need PoE? If so, is the switch port 802.3at or af? A 10 inch poe tablet listed as af works on an at port, but the reverse isn't guaranteed. Second, the housing: wall mount, L-shape, or wall mount with a call handle.

Third, software. AOSP with open ADB, or preloaded APK and locked launcher? Fourth, optional modules. NFC is listed on two models as a per-order option. Need it? Say so in the RFQ. Fifth, branding. Silk print, metal badge, boot animation. All available.

We answer within 24 hours. Don't send a drawing yet. Send the model, five answers, target quantity. We'll come back with what's feasible on that base model.

Limits and what we do not make

No 10.1 inch wall mount tablet with a built-in battery for portable use here. All five models in this table? Fixed installation. The L-shape WL1026T sits on a counter, sure. But it's not a handheld. Need a handheld? Check our rugged Android tablets or the POS handheld range.

We don't make medical devices either. The 10.1 inch models pop up at bedsides as information and call terminals, but they're not certified as medical equipment. If your application requires a specific medical compliance, that certification is yours to obtain.

Payment acceptance has its limits too. The NFC module on the WL1026T reads tags. But PCI and EMV security? That belongs to your payment app and its certified reader. Our hardware is the terminal, not the payment system.
