Where the WL1338T fits and where it does not
The WL1338T is a 13.3 inch L-shape desktop Android tablet built for fixed countertop roles. Its folded base keeps the screen upright and the cabling out of sight, which matters when you are placing units at a host stand, a service desk or a self-order position. We spec it with an RK3576S or RK3568 chipset, Android 15, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, plus a front camera and an 800:1 contrast ratio on a 16:9 panel. The built-in 10,000mAh battery means a brief power cut does not blank the screen mid-order. PoE, NFC and RFID are per-order options, and the OS build is AOSP without Google Mobile Services unless you ask for a custom image.
This is not a handheld, not a wall mount and not a rugged outdoor unit. If your deployment needs a smaller countertop screen, look at the WA8058T or WL1026T. For a wall-mount 13 inch panel, the WH1336T is the closer sibling. A buyer who wants a larger countertop display should start with the HP1012T. We would rather steer you to the right model than see an RFQ arrive for the wrong form factor.
What to put in the RFQ for the WL1338T
Before you send an inquiry for the WL1338T, pin down the build you need. The page data lists Android 15, an RK3576S or RK3568 CPU, 4GB+64GB memory, WiFi and Bluetooth, a 2.0MP front camera and a built-in 10,000mAh battery. The optional features are PoE, NFC and RFID. Tell us which CPU variant you want, whether you need PoE and which contactless reader, if any. Also state your camera use case. A 2.0MP front camera is fine for a basic self-check or a video call, but it is not a document scanner and it does not do facial recognition well in low light.
Specify your software image. We ship AOSP Android by default, which means no Google Mobile Services. If your app relies on GMS, say so in the RFQ and we will quote a build with the services you need. Also give us the launcher, preloaded APKs, boot animation and any kiosk locking you expect. For OEM orders, we can silk print your logo, change the housing color and supply your color box and manual. For ODM work, send your mechanical constraints and firmware requirements. We answer within 24 hours, but the more complete your RFQ, the faster we can quote.
How the WL1338T differs from its siblings
The WL1338T sits in our L-shape desktop line, but it is not a single spec. The WL1026T is the 10.1 inch version, and the WA1036T is another 10 inch countertop model with a different housing. The HP1012T steps the screen up to 10.1 inches with a different stand. The 13.3 inch WL1338T gives you more screen real estate for menus, order summaries or digital signage loops. It shares the RK3576S or RK3568 platform with several siblings, but the L-shape base, 10,000mAh battery and PoE option are the differentiators you need to check against your plan.
If you need a larger countertop unit, look at our 13 inch Android tablet category or the 15 inch and 17 inch ranges. The WL1338T is not a wall mount and not a rugged device. For a wall-mount panel in the same size, the WH1336T is the better match. If you are building a restaurant ordering station, the L-shape desktop form with PoE is often the cleanest way to run power and data over one cable. For a PoE Android tablet deployment, we can quote the WL1338T with the PoE module fitted at the factory.
